Swindon Lodges
The former railway town of Swindon once home to the Great Western Railway and from where the great Victorian Isambard Kingdom Brunel planned some of his greatest engineering feats is also home to nine Craft Lodges. Meeting at, you can be assured of a warm welcome in convivial surroundings. The Lodges meeting in Swindon form part of the North Wiltshire area of the Province.
The calendar opposite, shows the bookings for meetings and rehearsals for the nine Craft Lodges and other Orders that use the Masonic Centre (as at June 2018).
Procedure for booking one of the rooms at the Centre:
It is essential that before organising a meeting or gathering of any kind, Masonic or otherwise, confirmation must first be sought by contacting Rita Burrows on (01793) 522134 at The Planks. The ‘bookings diary’ that she keeps is likely to contain more up to date information than the calendar displayed opposite and/or in the display cabinet in the Centre's entrance hall. What appears to be a 'vacant space' may therefore, already be taken.
Confirmation with Rita is required for ALL rooms at the Planks, including the Dining and Robing Rooms.
