Wiltshire Masonic Widows Association
The Province has two active branches which meet in Salisbury, and Chippenham.
The branches enjoy a full programme of social activities including lunches, interesting and informative talks and visits to places of interest. New members are assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
The aim of the Association is to provide an organisation offering friendship, encouragement, support and comfort to all the widows of Freemasons who are living in the Province. The branches enjoy a full programme of talks, visits to places of interest and other social activities, reports of which appear in the Provincial Newsletter.
The Provincial Grand Almoner, W Bro Gary Dolphin is the co-ordinator for the Masonic Widows Association.

The Broken Column
The Broken Column in Masonic lore is often cited as representing the untimely death of the principal architect of the Temple at Jerusalem, it has also been held to signify the fact that the Temple itself was not completed. In the depiction shown opposite, it is a uniquely poignant symbol signifying the loss of a husband and Freemason. Family is at the heart of Freemasonry, and in the Province of Wiltshire the widows and children of Freemasons are always placed at the centre of our thoughts. The crown of laurel serves only to register the high esteem in which they are held.
Chippenham
Meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 10.30am at the the Masonic Hall, Emery Lane, Chippenham
